Honda had massive earnings
In 2015 Honda Vietnam earned US$3 billion in revenues and US$400 million in net profit, a vast majority of which came from selling about two million motorbikes. Furthermore, they sold roughly 20 million motorbikes in Vietnam over the past 20 years. Therefore, it emerges as the dominant player with 71 percent of the market share.

Motorbikes are the most popular means of transportation in Vietnam, which has a population of 90 million people and 45 million registered motorbikes, according to the Ministry of Transport.
