FB Mondial famous by their high-end small motorcycles
FB Mondial goes to mass production with the HPS 125 Hipster. It will make its international debut on the 4th of October at the Intermot Cologne show.
The FB in the company name comes from Fratelli Boselli, an Italian family from northern Italy. They first started motorcycle production in 1948. They have won 10 Grand Prix World Championships in accumulated riders and manufacturers titles.
The company ran until the 1980s but despite several revival attempts, the Italian maker was out of business for 20 years. Then in 2014 a descendant of the Boselli Brothers, Pier Luigi Boselli, and an Italian company called Pelpi International began the process of reviving the legendary company.
Their first model from FB Mondial is a 125-cc scrambler, will be unveiled at Intermot motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany. According to FB Mondial, the Hipster will hit the showrooms in the second quarter of 2017, at a price that will hopefully be revealed in Cologne. Next to the scrambler, a supermoto and an enduro using the same engine and frame platform are also expected to be unveiled.
