Harley-Davidson layed off 200 workers
After Harley Davidson pulled back from the more optimistic sales forecasting previously made, it was clear that sales for the year were not going to be exciting, but the latest announcement that it is laying off around 200 workers tells us the story is even worst.
The revamp and new factory model was supposed to be a help on the down time that they face. Making most of the plant automated did not help as expected.
Lay off around 12% of the workers that assembled its touring, Softail, CVO, and Trike models, shows business is not good at all. Harleys CEO said the market was weaker than expected, but sales might be slower even further.
