Khairul Idham Pawi Wins Moto3 Grand Prix in Argentina, Germany, and on to Win More!!
Malaysian young gun, Khairul Idham Pawi, shook the nation when he made history by winning the Moto3 race in the Argentina. In Germany, Khairul was unable to keep up his momentum and score another stunner in the recent Aragon Grand Prix in Spain.
Dubbed Super KIP by the nation, Khairul started at 27th on the gridline and only managed to finish 22nd, remaining at the same spot where he completed the San Marino Grand Prix.
“In the race, I tried to push hard from the beginning, but it was very difficult because of the rear (tire) slide,” said Khairul as quoted from Malaysian Digest.
The 18 year old was dismayed, and vowed to work harder in the remaining four races in Japan, Australia, Malaysia and Valencia.
“For sure I am not happy about the race result, but I think I gained another important experience today. We will work hard for forthcoming Asian rounds,” he added.
We hope that Khairul would be able to grasp the opportunity in the upcoming two races to thoroughly polish his skills. This way, he may be able to retrieve his glory in his home race in Malaysia. Nonetheless, Malaysians are proud with Khairul.
