THAILAND: Rise and shine because it’s Day 9! The team had their breakfast at 7am and after a hefty meal, we departed to Centara Hotel around 8.30am with the GMC Bikers for the official flag off with the company of the vice governor of Udon Thani. We had some light snacks at the hotel and at 10am, we were officially flagged off. Once again, DAJ made the all convoy split up due to his poor punctuality. Faizal had to wait for him before taking off. It was rather disappointing because he was late because he was too engrossed in his phone. Before we left, we all took a picture at the Udon Thani governor office.
LAOS: Around 12.30pm, we managed to reach the Friendship Bridge, which is located at Nong Khai and borders Vientiane of Laos. The Production Team were unable to get into the country because their passport was still in Malaysia due to some issues with the Kazakhstan Visa. However, they will be able to cross the border byTuesday with the help of Miss Suzana from YWP. DAJ’s passport was left behind at the border due to his immense carelessness which was once again, caused by his attention on his phone.
We then settled for lunch at the Fathima Restaurant in Vientiane at 2pm. We were joined by the Mr. Zakir, who is an officer from the Malaysian Embassy in Laos. We managed to check in DRose Hotel at 4pm. After unpacking and settling in, we joined Datuk Tan from the Malaysian Embassy for dinner at Nazim Restaurant. DAJ was left behind because he was late, as usual.
