Yamaha had originally unveiled the Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR at the 2016 Auto Expo in February this year. The Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR uses a 113cc 2-valve, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with Blue Core technology. The same motor also powers other scooters in Yamaha and comes with a variable transmission (CVT). It has a fuel efficiency figure of 66 km/L. Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR offers a large storage under the seat, analog instrument cluster and much more.
Roy Kurian, from Yamaha Motor India said, “Out of the total demand of two wheelers in India, the scooter segment is soaring with 30 per cent contribution to the sales and we are looking at a 10 per cent market share for this year.”
The model is aimed to be a sucess, the looks of it at least make the Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR scooter a desire to have for the daily city commute. Go and try it out!
