Yamaha is Releasing the All New Yamaha NVX & AEROX Scooters to the ASEAN Region Early 2017
Sepang International Circuit – Malaysia: Yamaha Motor Company Revealed the All new Yamaha NVX / Yamaha Aerox scooter by MotoGP Racing Champion Valentino Rossi for Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
Indonesia and Thailand will receive the scooter as the Yamaha Aerox, while Malaysia and Vietnam will receive the Yamaha NVX. December 2016 is the release period for Vietnam and Thailand, while Malaysia and Indonesia will follow in early 2017.
The reveal took place right before the qualifying & practice sessions of the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix start, Valentino Rossi was able to autograph the release model right before zooming off to the track.
The all new NVX / Aerox has a more aggressive exterior design to align with Yamaha’s new design language. All this while maintaining an ergonomic yet sporty experience for the rider. The key element of the new NVX / Aerox design is combining Yamaha’s racing identity, with premium intelligent urban style, and a young active fashion identity.
The Yamaha Aerox / Yamaha NVX will be using a Blue Core Technology Engine mated to a CVT transmission. Blue Core Technology increases combustion efficiency, reduces power loss, and utilizes cooling technology for optimal performance of the 155cc single cylinder engine. For the added efficiency and reduced emissions the scooter also uses start stop technology.
