KTM Vietnam has their 1st open showroom
The 82-year-old Austrian motorcycle manufacturer had made their debut with the first showroom in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Founded in 1934, KTM wins the heart of motorbike enthusiasts with their out-standing creativity in producing off-road motorcycles. In recent years, the brand has been producing high quality motorbikes for daily usage. Furthermore, in Vietnam KTM is definitely not a new market player, as Vietnamese stores have been importing un-authorized KTM motorcycles for years. Moreover, with the new presence, KTM Vietnam confirms their plan to grow, as deciding to produce warranty for unauthorized KTM vehicles.
Also in the event, KMT Vietnam presentation introduced the 1290 Super Duke GT 2016, with the price starting at 30700 USD (around 690 million VND).
The KTM Super Duke GT is the mile munching sports tourer based on the Super Duke R and uses the same 1301cc motor but with revised power output. Despite its beastly aggressive looks, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R is a surprisingly comfortable motorcycle to ride, thanks mostly to an upright riding triangle. Using 6-speed gearbox, 2 V-twin cylinder, the bike is able to produce a maximum capacity of 173 kW and maximum torque of 144 Nm. Technological highlights of this model include electronic throttle control system Ride-By-Wire, traction control, cruise control and great stability. In addition, according to The Ride Advice, 2016 KTM Super Duke GT is not for those don’t like to draw attention to themselves. Hence, this bike is designed to perform the best on long and multi-terrain journey.
