Chinese brand ChangJiang rolls out new model featuring CFMotor 650 twin

Changjiang- not the place, but the brand- is one of China’s oldest firms in the motorcycle industry. The brand has made its name with the military-style sidecar outfits based on World War II era BMW R75 designs for decades and took a turn when new local emission rules kicked in. After years of being left without any models, the brand is back on track with a new water-cooled 650cc two-wheeler.

The model comes with a sidecar but the firm has displayed its prototype without the sidecar. It features the 650cc parallel twin from fellow compatriot CFMoto last year. Much of a cut-price bobber, the bike is pictured without mudguards so that the finished product would appear like a more conventional cruiser-style.

It comes with a conventional swingarm with shocks mounted to it, making it resemble the CJ750 models. The engine is the same as the CFMoto 650s, where it produces 70bhp at 8,750rpm.

Not to mention, it complies with the Euro4 emission standards and could increase the sales in the European market.
