Hand-built and affordable- Moto Guzzi V7III Carbon Dark steals the spotlight

Usually when something is hand-built, the price reflects such hard work and effort put into the product. However in Italy, especially in Mandello del Lario on the eastern shore of Lake Como, hand-built and affordable do come hand in hand in a product, something which you do not stumble upon these days.

The new Moto Guzzi V7III models bring both ends of that spectrum together to provide special bargains for anyone interested. The V7III Carbon Dark is one of the three new special edition models and its features are exquisite. With the brushed aluminum tank, black accents and light-duty knobby tires, the bike screams aesthetics.

The V7III Milano on the other hand gives out a retro and classy vibe with its chrome pipes, chrome passenger grab bar and throwback side-by-side gauges. However, the Carbon Dark has been garnering the most attention.

The Carbon Dark is limited to only 1,921 units and is covered with matte black paint with red accents. The cylinder reads are painted red alongside the Brembo brake calipers, the V7III and the iconic Moto Guzzi eagle on the side of the gas. The black Alcantara seat steals the spotlight with its brand new water repellent variant of the ultra-suede-like-material.

The bike appeals the most to newer bike enthusiasts and also the veterans. It comes with a 744cc Transverse V-twin mated to a 6-speed transmission. It is capable of producing 51 horsepower and 44 ft-lbs of torque. The bike weights 460lbs and caps 51mpg in terms of fuel economy.

Rivals to the Ducati and Triumph entry-level Modern Classic and Scramble bikes, the Moto Guzzi tops the chart with its affordable price. Definitely a good catch.
