How to post a good motorcycle classified ad – Accessories or extra parts fitted

An aftermarket exhaust is always something that attracts clients. Make sure you describe all the extra parts and accessories fitted to the motorcycle on your classified ad

So, now that you’ve got the photos sorted and you are now getting ready to describe the motorcycle, and apart from telling potential clients the stock features from a specific model, there’s always the chance that the motorcycle is fitted with some extra parts or accessories.

This is our third tip on how to post a good motorcycle classified ad.

A new motorcycle doesn’t mean it’s completely stock. Sometimes you, as a professional motorcycle seller, or even the manufacturer, can offer accessories or extra parts fitted on the motorcycle making the deal even more appealing.

Make sure you use the Description section iMotorbike provides on the classified ad to speak about any extras you want to include in the deal.

You shouldn’t leave any extra behind – meaning, you need to list everything -, but sometimes while listing the details in the description, even professional sellers show a tendency to be too detailed (i.e.: boring description). Keep the details as simple as possible.

You will need to be as precise and concise as possible. Nowadays no one wants to waste time reading a long description filled with things too generic.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
