Travis Pastrana has done it again!

As promised a few weeks back, Travis Pastrana showed up before thousands of fans in front of the iconic Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas to try and complete three jumps that made Evel Knievel as famous as he is around the world.

Pastrana, an accomplished motorcycle and car racer, did all three jumps in under three hours!

Dressed to the occasion and with leathers that replicate the ones Evel Knievel used during his stunts, and riding a modified Indian Scout FTR750, Pastrana jumped over 52 cars, he then jumped over 16 buses and to finish off in style he jumped over the famous Caesar’s Palace fountain.

Travis Pastrana set new distance records along the way, beating Evel Knievel’s jumps.

But not everything was perfect…

During the last jump over the hotel fountain, Travis Pastrana was supposed to be sided with lots of fireworks while in the air, but a technical fault meant that he jumped before the fireworks were deployed.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
