Earlier this year we spoke about the new electric project from Harley-Davidson, the LiveWire, and at that moment the American brand promised to reveal the final performance figures of their first electric motorcycle very soon. Well, at the Geneva International Motor Show, happening right now, Harley-Davidson released some more information regarding the LiveWire.
According to the Milwaukee based brand, the electric motorcycle should start European deliveries during the final quarter of 2019, but pre-orders are already open for most international countries at www.h-d.com/LiveWire.
As for the performance figures, Harley-Davidson confirms that the top speed is limited at 180 km/h, and the bike will have from factory three different possibilities for charging the batteries. What we didn’t know are the final acceleration figures and the range.
According to Harley-Davidson press release, the 0-100 km/h happens in just 3 seconds, while accelerating from 100 km/h to 130 km/h will take only 1,9 seconds. A fantastic performance taking into account what we are used to seeing on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Besides all this, Harley-Davidson also announced at Geneva that the range of the LiveWire will be between 225 km in city riding, or as low as 142 km in combined riding, meaning stop-and-go in the city and highway riding.
Now it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing the Harley-Davidson LiveWire rolling on the streets. And we can’t wait to see that happening and hear the Revelation electric engine producing the specific sound that, according to Harley-Davidson, will make for an emotional ride.
