New Triumph Rocket 3 GT caught testing

The Hinckley factory is working on other versions of the muscle bike Rocket 3 after revealing the exotic Rocket 3 TFC.

After Triumph officially revealed the arrival of the Rocket 3 TFC, the British brand is now working on new versions of this muscle bike. According to a new photo, the next version to arrive is the Triumph Rocket 3 GT.

The development bike was caught testing in Croatia. Triumph wants to create a whole new Rocket 3 family. The TFC version, or Triumph Factory Custom, is the top of the line. The Triumph Rocket 3 GT variant – see photo – is for longer journeys. And there’s also a third version, also on the photo, that should be the base Rocket 3.

This new Rocket 3 GT has a taller windscreen, forward set footpegs, and pillion seat. The engine is still the same three-cylinder of the Rocket 3 TFC. If Triumph opts for the exact same power and torque, the GT will offer 170 hp and 221 Nm.

Since the development bike looks so “polished”, we expect the bike to be revealed before the big motorcycle shows in Europe.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
