If you’re looking for a bike that might suit your taste buds, why not take a look at the latest version of the Triton motorcycles? Icon Motorcycle has plans to come up with a new version of the Triton with replica Norton featherbed frames and a modern 900cc engine. The amalgamation earns the portmanteau ‘Triton’.

The original Tritons were not factory motorcycles and have been around since the 60s. They were built using the Norton featherbed frame and Triumph Bonneville engines. The new bikes will follow the same formula but will not take on the Triton name.

Instead of sourcing for the replica Triton bits, Icon has decided to do everything by itself. Builders got themselves the original designs of the Norton featherbed and will be hand-building those frames. Not to mention, even the engine will be built in-house. Instead of using the Bonneville engine, Icon will be using Thruton’s air-cooled 900cc twin-cylinder engine into the bikes.

These replicas are expected to be of limited units. According to sources, Icon has set sights on delivering these bikes starting from July 2020.
