2021 Tokyo Motorcycle Show
Earlier in March, the 47th Tokyo Motorcycle show was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. However, the cancellation of the Tokyo Motorcycle Show didn’t stop certain manufactures from introducing their new products. For example, Honda unveiled the new Honda CT125 Hunter Cub through their own Honda Virtual Motorcycle Show which took place on the 27th of March 2020. Aside from this, various other brands that manufacture motorcycles, aftermarket parts and accessories also started stepping up their game with virtual shows and virtual launches to unveil their latest products.

The Tokyo Motorcycle Show Association just announced the cancellation of the 48th Tokyo Motorcycle Show (2021). As there are no signs that the infection has converged and also it is impossible to predict the risk in the future; the organisers decided to put off the event in order safeguard the health and safety of visitors and exhibitors.
It’s a shame next year’s Tokyo Motorcycle Show is already going off the charts. As we all know, manufactures would somehow find a way to introduce their new products through virtual shows and online launches.
The association plans to hold the next event in 2022. However, whether the event would progress or not would again be based on the COVID-19 outbreak.
