Bajaj Auto will be utilising its newest facility to manufacture KTM, Husqvarna and Triumph motorcycles.

Just recently, Bajaj Auto has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Maharashtra to install its latest facility in Chakan, Maharashtra. The facility is a result of a proposed investment of Rs 650 crore and will likely be commencing production in 2023.

The new facility will manufacture KTM, Husqvarna and Triumph motorcycles. The production will also cover electric vehicles, starting with the Chetak. According to Bike Wale, the Government of Maharashtra will facilitate Bajaj Auto in obtaining necessities such as permissions, registrations, approvals, clearances, fiscal incentives from the concerned departments of the State, as per the existing policies/rules and regulations.

There are not many details about the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph but there are speculations of updates in the coming months. Triumph Motorcycles will be launching its affordable Trident 660 in the Indian market.
