Triumph Motorcycles has just pulled the cover off the 2021 Bonneville range. For 2021, all the bikes in Triumph’ Bonneville family get numerous aesthetic and tech updates. Here are the details!
Introduced in 1959, the Bonneville T120 has been chosen by famous motorcyclists of the past from celebrities such as Elvis Presley and Steve McQueen to stunt riders like Evel Knievel. Relaunched in 2015, the Triumph Bonneville gets an array of updates for 2021.
Updates for 2021:
Starting with the design, the T120 models get a new fuel tank design and a new instrument face. As for the electronics, the 2021 Bonneville T120 now gets cruise control as standard. The riding modes have also been enhanced to offer greater control.
Underneath, the chassis is 7kgs lighter and the model roll in with a set of lighter aluminium rims (18 inches up front and 17 inches at the rear). Thanks to this, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 weighs 236kg wet.
Brakes have also been updated. A Twin Brembo 2 piston sliding axial front calliper with twin 310mm disc up front and a single 255mm rear disc with single-piston Nissin floating calliper with 2-channel standard ABS provides improved braking performance and feel.
In the case of the engine, for 2021, the low emissive Euro 5 compliant liquid-cooled 1200cc parallel twin mill is said to be more responsive. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 & Bonneville T120 Black push out 78.9bhp @ 6,550 rpm and a peak torque of 105 Nm@ 3,500 rpm.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 is offered in 3 colours: Jet Black, Cordovan Red & Silver Ice and Cobalt Blue & Silver Ice.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black on the other hand is offered in Jet Black and Matt Jet Black & Matt Graphite.
First launched in 2017, the Bonneville T100 has been a great entry point for the Bonneville family. For 2021, the T100 gets lighter, more responsive and accessible.

In terms of design, the Triumph Bonneville T100 gets a new instrument face and powder coated black engine covers for 2021.
The liquid-cooled 900cc parallel-twin mill has been updated as well. Pushing out 64.1bhp @ 7400rpm and a peak torque of 80 Nm@ 3750 rpm, the new 2021 T100 now makes 9.8hp more peak power and a higher overall power across the rev range. The red line is also 500 RPM higher than the ongoing T100 model. The new Euro 5 compliant mill is said to be 2.9 kg lighter and more responsive as well.
The model gets minor updates around suspension and braking too. A new higher specific Brembo 2-piston front calliper ensures enhanced stopping power while an update 41mm cartridge front fork ensures a more comfortable ride.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 is offered in 3 colours: Jet Black, Carnival Red & Fusion White and Lucerne Blue & Fusion White.
Launched in 2015, the Street Twin has been Triumph’s biggest selling modern classic. Back in 2018, the Street Twin received serval mechanical updates. For 2021, the model gets several design upgrades together with the new Euro 5 compliant engine.

Starting with the aesthetic updates, the 2021 Triumph Street Twin gets new bodywork, machined black wheels, throttle body finishers and brushed aluminium headlight brackets.
Speaking of the new bodywork, the 2021 Street Twin gets an all-new side panel design with integrated mesh detailing and premium foil tank decals. Besides this, the model gets a new bench seat which is said to be more comfortable.
In the case of the engine, the 900cc parallel-twin mill on the Street Twin also gets a similar treatment as the T100. The new Euro 5 compliant engine pushing 64.1bhp @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 80 Nm@ 3,800 rpm is said to be more torque-rich compared to the ongoing model.
The 2021 Triumph Street Twin is available in 3 colours: Cobalt Blue, Matt Ironstone and Jet Black.
2021 Triumph Street Twin Gold Line is a hand detailed custom special limited to just 1000 units. Starting with the design, being an exclusive Street Twin edition, the model gets a unique gold line special edition paint scheme, ribbed black bench seat, cast wheels with machine spoke detailing, and gold pinstriping.
Looking at the body panel in detail, the Gold Line gets a new side panel with mesh finishing with the gold street twin logo. Similar to the standard Street Twin, the Gold Line also gets brushed aluminium throttle body finishes and headlight brackets.
In the case of the powerplant, the Gold Line gets the same 900cc parallel-twin mill featured on the updated standard Street Twin. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the Euro 5 compliant engine pushes 64.1bhp @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 80 Nm@ 3,800 rpm.
Launched in 2017, the Bonneville Speedmaster has been a well known modern British classic cruiser. In the cruiser segment, the Speedmaster stands out in practicality, versatility and specifications. For 2021, similar to the other models, the Speedmaster also gets design and tech updates.

Speaking of design updates, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster gets an all-new instrument cluster and 2 new colour schemes. In the case of the engine, the 1200cc parallel twin mill gets Euro 5 treatment like the other models. Pushing 76.9 bhp @ 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 106 Nm @ 400 rpm, the new 2021 Speedmaster is said to be more responsive because of lower engine inertia.
The model gets an updated switchable twin and single seat set up. The rider seat gets a new separate lumbar support with a deep foam construction meanwhile the pillion seat gets a thicker pillion seat foam to ensure both rider and pillion comfort.
Besides this, the model gets updates around suspension to ensure better handling and manoeuvrability. A new higher specification Show 47mm Cartridge front forks with 90mm front wheel travel and a high specific adjustable monoshock with 73.3mm rear wheel travel take care of suspension duties.
The 2021 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is offered in a total of 3 colour options: Red Hopper (New), Fusion white & Sapphire Black (New) and Jet Black.
The standard Bonneville Bobber was launched in 2016, a year later Triumph introduced the Bonneville Bobber Black. Regardless of the variant, the Bonneville Bobber has won multiple awards and been the basis for many custom builds worldwide. For 2021, the model gets numerous updates from the ground up.

Starting with the design, the Bonneville Bobber gets 2 new colour options, a new instrument cluster, a full LED headlight with DRL and blacked-out finishing. A larger 12L sculpted fuel tank and 16-inch fat front wheel further enhance the muscular stance of the bike. As for the tech updates, the model now gets cruise control as standard.
Underneath, the 1200cc parallel twin also gets Euro 5 treatment and the updated engine is said to be more responsive. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the 2021 Triumph Bonneville Bobber puts out 76.9 bhp @ 6100 rpm and a peak torque of 106 Nm @ 4000 rpm.
Triumph has updated the brakes and suspension for 2021 as well. Braking duties are taken care of by a new twin 310mm calliper with twin Brembo 2 piston sliding axial callipers up front and a single 255mm rear disc with a single-piston Nissin floating calliper at the rear.
As for the suspension, a new chunkier 47mm Show cartridge front fork with 90m travel and an under-seat mono-shock at the take care of suspension duties.
