A two-time world champion, Suzuki made his Moto3 debut in 2015 at Mahindra after stints at the FIM CEV Repsol in Spain. After barely scoring in his first year at the Worlds, he achieved more regularity and in 2017 he signed for Sic58 Squadra Corse. In Paolo Simoncelli’s team, the Japanese found the conditions to be able to evolve. In 2019, this growth showed up with more results with his 8th-place finish in the world with a triumph and a win and another podium to his name.
