Despite being more than 7 seconds behind champion Joel Estaban, Hakim showed an excellent performance to curb the pressure of six other riders to ensure the second position became his and at the same time improve the fifth position in Race 1.

However, the success of occupying P5 in Race 1 and P2 in Race 2 has placed Hakim in second place in the ETC championship this season.

The next round will take place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit on May 22.
