After weeks of various ‘teasers’ being shared, BMW Motorrad India has finally launched the BMW G 310 RR. The model is available in the standard version and the style sport model.
The sportsbike model joins the existing G 310, G 310 GS and G 310 R families developed in collaboration with Indian motorcycle manufacturer, TVS Motor Company.
Similar to the two models, the G 310 RR also features a 313cc single-cylinder TVS engine that produces 33.5hp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm @ 7,700rpm.
The BMW G 310 RR also gets the same 17-inch five-blade alloy rims as the G 310 R.
However, while the G 310 R and G 310 GS feature a brand new design, the G 310 RR retains the same look and design as the TVS Apache RR 310. The only aspect that differentiates the G 310 RR and the Apache RR 310 is the colour and graphics choices.
Also brought from the Apache RR 310 is a vertical TFT screen display that also offers Bluetooth connectivity function.
In addition, the G 310 RR is also equipped with four riding modes namely Track, Urban, Rain and Sport.
According to BMW Motorrad India, the BMW G 310 RR is priced at INR285,000 (RM15.9k) for the standard variant while the Sport variant is priced at INR299,000 (RM16.6k).
