Harley-Davidson became associated with the production of small capacity models three years ago after establishing a partnership with Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, QJMotor which is also the owner of the Benelli brand.

Initially, the small capacity model was named Harley-Davidson 338R. Soon after, QJMotor introduced a new engine with a capacity of 353cc.

The said 353cc parallel-twin engine is the engine of choice for Harley-Davidson. The company comfirmed the matter after QJMotor filed an approval document showing a clear picture of the model with the code name HD350.

However, looking at the images, the HD350 model is most likely named X350. Interestingly, the document reveals the X350 shares most of the components from the QJMotor SRK350 and Benelli 302S.

The document also informs that the X350 offers 36hp and comes with a weight of around 195kg. This is quite heavy for a 350cc motorcycle.

Even so, the Harley-Davidson X350 is still able to reach a maximum speed of up to 145km/h.

Other features of the bike include the use of 120/70-17 front and 160/60-17 rear tires and the same suspension package taken from the Benelli 302S.

The approval document also revealed another model in the works. This would be the Harley-Davidson X500, which draws inspiration from the Benelli Leoncino 500.
