Expressing his optimism, Adam stated that being back in top form is a positive step for both himself and the team as they gear up for testing in Portimao, Portugal next week.
“I’ve fully recovered from my previous shoulder injury, and now I’m feeling great. There’s no more pain, and I’ve been able to ride smoothly. I’ve had no issues handling the 1000cc machine during our training sessions at Sepang,” said Adam.
Having previously suffered injuries to his shoulder and knee, the former Moto2 and Moto3 rider in the Motorcycle World Championship (MotoGP) underwent a rigorous rehabilitation process at the National Sports Institute (ISN).
In last season’s WorldSSP competition, which was won by Italian rider Nicolo Bulega, Adam concluded the campaign in 25th place overall, garnering 20 points from 46 competitors.
Reflecting on his expectations for his debut in the premier class this year, Adam expressed confidence in the team’s ability to provide him with the best possible machinery to tackle the competition.
“I’m hoping for improvements in the chassis and electronic components. As we know, last season, these areas posed challenges for the team. However, I believe the team can overcome these issues and find the best adjustments before the races kick off in Australia,” Adam remarked.
