The 2024 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is about to kick off at the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, fueling excitement. This season brings unforgettable moments with transfers, rule changes, and high-profile rookies making their mark. The Championship reveals the list of FIM homologated motorcycles for 2024, offering fans a glimpse into the racing machinery. Get ready for an exhilarating season on the challenging racing circuit.

In the premier WorldSBK category, the spotlight is on the newest entrant, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. In January, the Fireblade completed homologation, now set for competition in both standard (ST) and SP versions. It’s the only change to the WorldSBK homologation lineup for the upcoming season; other manufacturers maintain the status quo.

Turning attention to the broader paddock, several other machines have received the FIM’s stamp of approval for the 2024 season.

In January 2024, the Honda CBR600RR, coded PC40 for Asia and PC69 for Europe, completed homologation. The MV Agusta F3 800 RR M.U. and F3 Superveloce M.U. secured homologations in the previous December, gearing up for their competitive debut.

It’s worth noting that this model was previously listed under the model code HJ7. Yamaha’s YZF-R7 has also received homologation for SSP 600/NG (Phase 1 only), signaling the FIM’s endorsement for its inclusion in a national series hosted by its National Federations.

Exciting developments await in the WorldSSP300 category as the Kawasaki Ninja 400 awaits Phase 1 completion for an extension of its homologation. Simultaneously, the Kove 321 RR-S (model code P310) is poised for homologation in both Phase 1 and Phase 2. Yamaha successfully homologated the YZF-R3 with model code YZF-R3 320 in October 2023, replacing its previous model code, YZF-R3/ABS.
