KTM 1090 Adventure has been revealed
KTM has revealed the all-new 1090 Adventure along with its more extreme sibling, the KTM 1090 Adventure R, at 2016 Intermot show. It retains the same 1,050cc 75-degree V-twin engine but now compliant with Euro4. The 1090 Adventure comes to replace the 1050 series of ADV (adventure motorcycles).
The regular KTM Adventure 1090 comes equipped with slipper clutch, three-way traction control and ride-by-wire technology. In addition, the design has changed, although the chassis remains the same.
The R version runs with a dual 320mm Brembo discs and radial four-piston calipers. Furthermore, the KTM 1090 Adventure gets 4 types of riding modes — Sport, Street, Rain and Off-road. Traction control has also multiple modes. The R version has some extra tweaks on design and the frame and the crash bars are painted in orange.
Its and exciting new adventure motorbike and we look forward to test it!
