Ducati Scramblers have been making an impact to a lot of bike enthusiasts since 2014. This time, the brand takes their infamous model up a notch by unleashing several impressive updates for the year 2019. Through the ‘Scrambler Joyvolution’, the Ducati Scrambler Icon will now come with modern equipment, revised riding ergonomics, new paint schemes, and better safety tech so that both wheels will be able to stay planted in all situations.
The bike will receive new paint schemes including Atomic Tangerine and the classic 1962 Yellow paint scheme. The powertrain still dons the dark theme but comes with additional brushed cylinder head fins. The bike is also much more comfortable and safer due to the updated electronics.
The 2019 model weighs a minimum of 410 lb but gains until 417 lb when the seat height is increased from 31.1 to 31.4 inches. The bike also comes with Bosch Cornering ABS as standard equipment.
The Scrambler hosts an air-cooled 803cc motor that is Euro 4 compliant and is capable of producing 75bhp at 8,250 rpm and 50 lb-ft of peak torque at 5,750 rpm.
The new Scrambler also features the same steel teardrop fuel tank with new beefy aluminum panels with the Scrambler moniker. The front part of the bike has an all-new headlight with LED DRL in a new aluminum housing and there are also new auto-off LED indicators.
