According to EMOS, the Modenas Vulcan S is available with prices starting at RM36,500 for the Metallic Flat Spark Black colour option and RM37,200 for the Matte Sage Green colour.

For the record, the Modenas Vulcan S is one of the Kawasaki motorcycles that was rebranded as Modenas. The Vulcan S is also the brand’s first 650cc model as well as the Ninja 650, Z650 and Versys 650.

Meanwhile, the Modenas Vulcan S features a 649cc parallel-twin engine with liquid cooling. It is capable of generating 61hp at 7,500rpm and 63Nm at 6,600rpm. Engine power is sent to the rear tires through a 6-speed manual transmission.

As a rider-friendly cruiser, the Vulcan S comes with 18-inch front and 17-inch rear tires. To add comfort, riders can change the footrest to 3 different positions according to convenience (25mm forward and 25mm backward).

Other equipment includes front and rear LED lights and a 14L tank. It also comes with 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tires. The bike also has a front telescopic fork and a ‘horizontal back-link’ type rear shock absorber. It comes with a dual-channel ABS brake system.

According to EMOS, every Modenas Vulcan S purchase comes with a factory warranty of 2 years or 20,000km (whichever comes first).
