PT Astra Honda Motor has introduced the Honda CBR250RR SP for the Indonesian market at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2023.
For 2023, the 250cc displacement motorcycle now comes with several new features and equipment including an updated engine.
According to PT Astra Honda Motor, the compression ratio for the parallel-twin 249.7cc 8-valve engine with DHC has increased from 12.1:1 to 12.5:1. There is an increase in power to 42hp at 13,000rpm compared to 40hp before. The gear ratio is also shorter so that the riding experience becomes more sporty and aggressive.
In the meantime, this SP version also comes with a quickshifter as standard.
Meanwhile, the CBR250RR SP also comes with a Showa BPF front fork covered in golden colour. The fork is the same as found on the CBR500R and CBR650R.
The braking system is lined with single-disc brakes at the front and rear and is matched with a dual-channel ABS system. Meanwhile, other features remain the same including full LED headlights and a ‘throttle-by-wire’ system.
This Honda CBR250RR SP is available at a price of IDR79.2 million (RM23,000).
