Following the recent reckless and irresponsible racing by Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) and Miguel Oliveira (CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP Team), RNF Aprilia is pushing for the FIM Stewards to implement harsher and more severe penalties.

There is no doubt that MotoGP is a sport with high speed and intensity involved. Lack of safety precautions can easily turn the race upside down and lead to dire consequences. Despite being a competition where riders want to win at all costs, the “costs” must not undermine the safety requirements and safe performance.

It is imperative that the recent incident between Marquez and Oliveira serve as a reminder that riders should not compromise safety on track. This is the appropriate time to also remind riders of the severe penalties for such reckless racing.

CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP has taken the liberty to condemn such behaviour. The team also advocates for stricter penalties.

The incident at the recent race between Marc Marquez and Miguel Oliveira should serve as a wake-up call for riders in MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3. Thus, it is imperative that they are reminded of the severity of the punishment for any kind of reckless and irresponsible racing.

“We believe that safety is the top priority in any sport, and MotoGP must take necessary actions to ensure the safety of all its riders. We look forward to supporting the FIM Stewards in their ongoing efforts to develop a safer and more responsible racing environment,” the team stated to MotoGP.
