In case you missed out, the UK government has announced a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles from the year 2040 onward in order to deal with the ever-rising air pollution problems.

The act of banning the said vehicles is said to be a platform to end the prevalence of the internal combustion engine in automotive transport.
