The numbers have been increasing, showing great business for motorcycle dealership group CMC Chesterfield.

According to new accounts, the turnover of the firm has increased to £34.9m compared to the £24.6m from the year before. Pre-tax profits also rose from £137,005 to £454,731.

The financial improvements were as such due to its first full year of trading at its branch in Newport, which commenced business last October. The relocation of its Cannock store in May to a larger unit is also one of the factors.

The firm also has plans for a new 18,000 sq ft store in Manchester early next year.

“The company continues to explore new routes to markets as opportunities present themselves although planned expansion is limited to a new site in Manchester,” the firm stated.

“The directors’ focus is very much on the existing business and realising the sales opportunity from the store base that has been established over recent years.”
