Hero MotoCorp is reportedly working on a range of new Karizma models for the Indian and international markets. The top officials are keen on restoring the well-respected name of the Karizma brand.

The Hero Karizma were sold in two variants, namely the Karizma R and Karizma ZMR. The R version was discontinued in 2017 and the ZMR version is still listed of the official website of the firm.

The Karizma was first launched in 2003 and was upgraded to a sportier vibe with the Karizma R. The firm became more ambitious and decided to insert inputs from Erik Buell Racing, which did not garner much attention as it had before. It perhaps marked the downfall in sales for the older Karizma models.

There is yet to be a full-scale detail regarding the new Karizma models but many sites suggests that it might come with a bigger engine and dual disc brakes with an ABS.
