Royal Enfield teases new 650cc parallel twin motorcycle LockStock

In case you did not know, Royal Enfield has just released a teaser of its brand new custom motorcycle. The brand will be introducing this bike with a new 650cc parallel twin engine in the Interceptor and GT motorcycles within a few months. The bike, named LockStock, will be unveiled at the Bike Shed Motorcycle Club in London in a day or two and has been officially commissioned by Royal Enfield.

The bike is seen with a rorty exhaust note which is unlike the brand’s forte with single cylinder motorcycles. The exhaust releases a loud roar and has an air-oil cooled layout. It uses a 270 degree crank for the unique exhaust and a single overhead camshaft running four valves each head. It is capable of producing 47 bhp of peak power and maximum torque of 52Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a slipper clutch.

Not to mention, with this engine, it will serve as a strong competitor to Continental GT and Interceptor motorcycles by going 160 Kmph. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor GT will be first launched in developed markets all around the world. Dual channel ABS will be standard on both motorcycles, which makes them the safest bikes that Royal Enfield has ever produced.
