The Monster will be the star of the World Ducati Week

With the opening of the World Ducati Week fast approaching – 20 to 22 July -, the Italian brand continues to release more information regarding the great gathering of Ducatisti at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Italy.

As expected, this 10th edition of the WDW is going to be a celebration of the Monster, a naked sportbike that for the last 25 years has been making riders discover the pleasures of riding a motorcycle.

At the WDW the fans of the Monster will be able to admire the customized bikes at the “Ducati Garage Contest”, held since 2002, and that this year is reserved exclusively to the “Monsteristi”. The customized bikes will be judged by a jury composed by technicians, riders and visitors.

Again with this iconic model in the center of attentions, the “Monster Village” will be the heart of the event, inside the Misano racetrack, a place where fans will be able to retrace the history of the Monster, starting with the Monster 900 from 1993, a bike that is currently on display at the Ducati Museum in Borgo Panigale.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
