Riders rejoice as BMW increases warranty for new motorcycles to three years

Good news for the bike enthusiasts as BMW has made an announcement to increase the warranty period on its new motorcycles from two to three years and will be taking on immediate effect.

The German top gun offers the extra 12 months cover on top of the statutory two-year warranty covering all new motorcycles. The said warranty will be covering free repairs or parts replacement in the event of any manufacture or material defect with no mileage limits. Not to mention, new buyers of the bikes will be having access to three years European roadside assistance that comes with the package.

“The change to this support package matches perfectly the needs of our customers.  With worldwide cover for warranty, including unlimited mileage, and Roadside Assistance wherever you are in Europe, those riders who choose to use their bikes for holiday and adventure travel – as many do – can now travel with added reassurance,” said Nick Reece, national aftersales manager for BMW Motorrad UK.

BMW’s increased warranty covers all standard motorcycles in the BMW range, including the G310R and also the K1600GTL. Such a change is indeed extremely beneficial for the riders.
