Curtiss continues to ride the electric path with two new concepts

Curtiss Motorcycles, formerly known as Confederate Motorcycles, builders of some of the most iconic American motorcycles in the last few years like the Wraith or Hellcat, are joining the electric powered engines movement and have already shown us what they want to unleash by 2020, the Zeus.

Now, the American bike manufacturer goes a step forward and shows us two new concepts based on the original Zeus.

Curtiss hasn’t given them a specific name and is using the Zeus Bobber and Zeus Cafe Racer names for now, and while the style fits right into what we expect a futuristic bobber or cafe racer to look like, the electric motor, battery and electronic control system will be completely new compared to the original Zeus.

Not only Curtiss has done an incredible job designing these concepts, but they’ve also been having the help of a brand-new department within the brand, the Advanced Technology division, which is in charge of developing all these new features for the Zeus Bobber and Zeus Cafe Racer.

There’s no word yet for the price range for these Zeus variants, but we expect it to be high, since Curtiss Motorcycles, much in the same way Confederate Motorcycles were built, builds each bike according to the specific owner’s tastes and needs.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
