The limited-edition Italjet Dragster scooter in special colour scheme with black fairing and magnesium gold colour frame unveiled.

The new Italjet Dragster took the internet by storm after it was first unveiled at ECIMA 2019. A few months earlier Italjet announced that the Dragster would go into production this year. To celebrate their new bike, Italjet has unveiled a new limited edition model.

Limited Edition Italjet Dragster

The limited-edition Italjet Dragster comes in a special colour scheme with black fairing and magnesium gold colour frame. As for this limited-run model, Italjet says only 499 units will be produced for both the 125cc and 200cc variants.

The preordering for the Dragster started earlier in March; where the buyers had the option to choose between Anthracite/Red or Anthracite/Yellow. However, with the new colour scheme coming in, the customers now have the option to switch to this special colour scheme. Given how good the Italjet Dragster looks in black, we think the buyers who want to get a hold of this collector’s piece should make the booking asap.

The Italjet Dragster comes with an independent steering system with a single-sided front arm made from aerospace aluminium alloy linked together by BITUBO hydraulic adjustable shocks.  In the case of the engine, the Dragster comes in 2 options; 125cc or 200cc: four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine; with Magneti Marelli electronic injection and a double overhead camshaft. The 125cc version develops a maximum power output of 14.9 bhp along with a peak torque of 12.5 Nm. On the other hand, the 200cc engine produces 19.8hp and 17Nm of peak torque.

As for the price in Italy, the 125cc version costs 5,429 USD: MYR 23,214 while the 200cc model costs 6108 USD: MYR 26,117. According to sources, the Dragster is expected to roll out by September 2020. In the case of Malaysia, there are no announcements yet; however, we believe it’s just a matter of time for the Dragster to get into the Malaysian market.
