Hakim suffered a ‘highside’ on Turn 16 while competing for 4th place and suffered a fracture in his right wrist.

ZKRacing confirmed the matter through official statements. This means that Hakim will miss Race 2, Race 3 scheduled for Saturday (today) and Race 4 on Sunday in an effort to recover from injury.

“My Race 1 started in the eighth box but I was ‘high side’ in Turn 16 and my arm was broken. So I can’t race on Saturday and Sunday.

“During Race 1 I tried to chase the front group and at the beginning of the lap I was confident to give competition but in the last three laps I made a mistake and in the last lap, I was a little slow.

“At that time I tried to re-enter and there was a little sand so my rear tire kept throwing.

“Thank God I’m safe, just a little broken arm, nothing for me,” says the 14-year-old rider.

Meanwhile, Danial Syahmi managed to finish Race 1 in second place while another national representative, Sharul Ezwan took 7th place.
