Historic British brand Hesketh is known for its hand-built and bespoke motorcycles.  The brand’s upcoming product, the Hesketh Heresy 450 is its most technologically advanced product to date that does not derive power from a V-twin but instead relies on an air/oil-cooled engine.

The Heresy 450 also comes with ABS, a Euro 5 competent single-cylinder mill and more. It is credited as the Isle of Man’s most modern creation to date. It is also the first time the manufacturer has ever released a motorcycle that does not rely on a big-bore V-twin.

The bike features a 450cc single-cylinder engine that is found in the Honda XR400 enduro motorcycle. The power and torque of the bike are aggregated at about 30 to 40bhp. However, there is yet to be confirmation of the final spec so far. Complementing the chassis of the bike is a K-Tech suspension, hand-built frame and radially mounted brakes.

The Heresy 450 comes with a price tag of £14,000 (approx RM 75,274). Its price is reasonable compared to other niche models. It will be available for order shortly after its launch.

Hesketh will be debuting this new model at the EICMA 2022 which will be taking place in Milan from 8th to 13th November.
