In the last 15 years, Oliver Stein has held managerial roles at the VW Group, but in his most recent role as Head of Finance, Controlling, Organization and Strategy of Audi Sport GmbH (formerly quattro GmbH), Audi’s high performance car division for RS and R models, exclusive vehicle personalization and customer racing, he made Audi Sport more than doubled its sales figures from 2012 to 2018.

Ducati CEO will continue to be Claudio Domenicali, and it will be interesting to see how the emotional Italian side of Ducati reacts to the arrival of a new member of the board appointed by the VW Group, that has his sight set on the financial side of the business, and how that might affect the arrival of new models from the Italian brand.
