With the presence of the amazing Kawasaki ZX-4RR, sportsbikes in the 400-450cc segment are becoming more popular like in the 90s.

After launching the Kove 400RR, Kove immediately went into production of its 4-cylinder sportbike, the Kove 450RR.

In terms of styling, the Kove toned down a bit of the sportbike’s aggressiveness by giving it a more conventional look. But the model still has a winglet, bubble windshield, clip-on handlebars and an aggressive rear, similar to the Ducati Panigale.

This Kove 450RR will be equipped with a larger 4-cylinder 443cc engine.

Power output is now up at 70.9hp @ 13,000 rpm (75hp with air vanes), and torque 39.3Nm @ 10,500 rpm. If it enters the production phase later, the Kove 450RR will be the only inline 4-cylinder motorcycle with that engine displacement on the market.

Kove has opted for steel trellis in the making of the 450RR frame. The bike weighs 163kg, lighter than the Kawasaki ZX-4RR (188kg).

This sportbike is available in two variants: Standard and Performance. The standard version comes with a 41mm Yu-an fork at the front and a monoshock of the same brand at the rear. On the other hand, the Performance variant uses an adjustable KYB fork and is fitted with a steering damper.

The bike also features Conventional Taisko brake callipers, while the Performance variant uses radial brakes. The Performance variant also comes with Maxxis sports tires.

Electronic features of both variants include traction control and an anti-skip clutch. The Performance variant also adds launch control and a hill quickshifter. The standard version’s instruments are LCD, while the Performance has a colour TFT display.

Currently, Kove only operates in China, with some models heading to neighbouring countries under different brands. Kove previously announced the opening of doors in Italy.
