Toni Bou Successfully Clinches 34th X-Trial World Title

Great weekend in Madrid for Toni Bou as the rider secured his latest world title in an indoor trial competition. The Repsol Honda Trial Team rider now extends his indoor record to 17 championships. With one round left in the 2023 season, Bou claimed his 34th crown overall, solidifying his status as the most successful rider in the sport’s history.

This year, riding the Montesa Cota 4RT, Bou achieved 5 wins and one second-place finish in the X-Trial World Championship. Since joining the Repsol Honda Trial Team in 2007, he has maintained his dominance in the indoor series. Bou managed to win an impressive 17 consecutive titles throughout his run.

Bou’s remarkable achievements also include 18 national titles in Spain and an additional 17 honours in the TrialGP World Championship. He earned his latest win just a couple of months ago. Throughout his X-Trial Championship journey, he has notched an impressive 77 victories out of 105 events, standing on the podium 92 times.
