Yamaha Gears Up for MotoGP Season with Tweaks

While there won’t be a massive 180-degree change, the team is focused on steady progress, making the most of concessions to deliver a stronger YZR-M1.

Massimo Meregalli, the Managing Director, shared that the final M1 won’t be unveiled at the Sepang tests. He stressed the team’s commitment to a careful development process, saying, “We won’t see the final M1 there, but I hope it’ll be more competitive.”

Yamaha’s concessions will be key to their year-long plan. Meregalli highlighted how these concessions empower the team to work on all aspects of the YZR-M1 throughout the season. Expected improvements include tweaks to aerodynamics, a potential engine upgrade, and a new chassis, showcasing Yamaha’s dedication to refining every part of their MotoGP machine.
