CKJ Racing Team and JRT Tech 2 Racing Unite for ARRC 2024

CKJ Racing Team and JRT Tech 2 Racing have forged a formidable collaboration set to intensify the competition in the Underbone 150 (UB150) class at the 2024 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).

This partnership, slated to kick off its debut at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand this March, brings together the seasoned riders of CKJ Racing Team, Md Akid Aziz, and Ahmad Afif Amran.

Amer Saad, the Operations and Strategy Manager of CKJ Racing Team, expressed enthusiasm about the recently sealed collaboration, emphasizing its potential for technological exchange, all while utilizing Yamaha machinery.

“We were approached by JRT to collaborate in their team for the UB150 class in ARRC. After discussions, we reached an agreement, with CKJ tasked with technical management, riders, and mechanics,” stated Amer. “The primary aim of this collaboration is for developmental purposes, to be tested and utilized in the upcoming ARRC races. It’s also a new experience for CKJ Racing in UB150, collaborating with JRT, who are entering their third year in the ARRC competition (2024).”

For the record, CKJ Racing Team made its ARRC debut in 2010 in the Underbone 115 (UB115) class, with Rafid Topan Sucipto clinching third place overall before securing the championship title the following year.

This collaboration signifies a strategic move for both teams, leveraging each other’s strengths and expertise to elevate their performance in the fiercely competitive ARRC arena. With CKJ Racing Team’s rich history and JRT Tech 2 Racing’s seasoned presence, fans can anticipate thrilling battles and remarkable advancements in the UB150 class throughout the 2024 ARRC season.
