Norton Motorcycles shows the new Atlas 650

British manufacturer Norton Motorcycles has been slowly getting back on their feet, and after some years producing bikes for the wealthier of us, the brand that has Stuart Garner at its helm is getting a more affordable approach to the two-wheels world.

Introducing the new Atlas 650!

The sketches of this new model were published in the official Norton Motorcycles Facebook page, along with some details. The bike we see in the sketches is the production version of the all new Atlas, powered by a twin-cylinder engine with 650 cc produced by Norton.

The bike will be officially revealed to the public in November, and deliveries will start in 2019 in England, but Norton Motorcycles will eventually bring the new Atlas to the rest of the world.

This model brings back the heritage of the 1963 Atlas Scrambler, and according to Norton, the price will be very competitive considering the quality of the bike, under RM53000, a good value if we think the rest of the range has a much higher price tag.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
