What happens when you put a Kawasaki KX450 engine on a Suzuki RV?

Every now and then we get some crazy projects from custom builders, but this time around we believe that crazy isn’t actually the best definition for this bike! Probably pure madness is a better way to describe what the guys from Stunt Freaks Team have done.

And what have they done?

Do you remember the classic Suzuki RV, a mini-bike the Hamamatsu factory launched many years ago, that later on gave way to what we now know as the Van-Van?

Well, the guys from Stunt Freaks Team got their hands on a Suzuki RV, and decided that the small size of this model wasn’t a problem to fit a bigger engine. They had a Kawasaki KX450 engine kept for an “emergency” like this, and they decided to join that engine with the RV chassis.

The result is a bike that weighs around 80 kg and is able to reach 150 km/h in just a little over 5 seconds!

Of course it helps that the engine was prepped to be used in supermoto races, so it pumps out 60 hp, and to ride this mini-bike on steroids you’ll need to have serious skills to keep both wheels on the ground.

Watch the video of the Suzuki RV below and tell us what you think about this crazy project from Stunt Freaks Team.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
