Recall being issued for some MV Agusta models

From the United Kingdom we get news that some MV Agusta models have been targeted by what its being called as a “major recall” action. The cause of the possible problem is “Due to a production error, there may be excessive play in the axial clamping screw on the forks. This could lead to a loss of control”.

And which models are affected by this recall?

This recall points out that the affected bikes have been produced between March 12 to April 30 this year.

We still don’t know if this recall affects any units that may have been sold in Malaysia, so, if you have one (or more) of the models we’ve listed above and you’re unsure if your bike has this problem, and given that MV Agusta doesn’t have an official maintenance provider store here in Malaysia, please reach out to your trust worthy mechanic.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
