Police finds submerged Harley-Davidson Road Glide

Sometimes you find motorcycles in unexpected places, and this is one of those times as the Police have found a Harley-Davidson submerged by the water on the Intracoastal Canal in America.

The bike it’s a Harley-Davidson Road Glide painted in orange colour, although the mud and weeds make it a little hard to see it.

The Police department is looking for the owner of this Harley-Davidson Road Glide, and they want to understand what the bike was doing at the bottom of the canal. But the Police won’t have an easy task finding the owner of this bike, since the registration number on the frame has been erased, which makes this whole situation even more suspicious.

If in fact the bike was stolen, as many believe, the true owner of this Harley will be really happy to recover the bike, this, of course, if the Police find out who he is.

But the bad news is that to make the V-twin engine fire up again, it will take the owner a lot of time and money, since the engine needs to be rebuilt almost from scratch, and the rest of the components of the Road Glide need to be restored.

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
