Yamaha Niken to get a GT variant?

If patent and emission fillings are useful for something, that something is to give us, and you, our readers, a way to know in advance what a specific brand is working on. This time, and according to California Air Resources Board (CARB), Yamaha is working on a GT variant for the very unconventional Niken GT.

The futuristic trike from Iwata has surely shown up in the market to shake things up, and whether you like it or not, Yamaha will stand by the decision to create a trike that uses a three-cylinder engine with lots of power and torque.

The three-wheeled motorcycle is just now starting to reach the markets globally, but Yamaha is already thinking in a way to make the Niken, even more, an all-rounder.

The Niken GT has shown up in CARB documents, and since EICMA Milan motorcycle show is just around the corner, it should be the perfect opportunity for Yamaha to reveal her to the world.
