Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Malaysia has just made a recall announcement for the Yamaha Tracer 900 GT. Here are the details!

Yamaha Tracer 900 GT owners out there, here is something to take note of! Yamaha Motor Malaysia has just made a recall announcement for the Tracer 900 GT to replace the front stop switch kit. The Yamaha Tracer 900 GT motorcycles that are being recalled are the ones that fall within the following frame numbers; PMYRN6110K0000101 to 0000620 and PMYRN6110L0000621 to 0000900. So, if you own a Yamaha Tracer 900 GT in Malaysia, make sure to double-check with the frame number to know whether your motorcycle is affected.  The recall is said to be carried out by region in stages.

HLYM announced that they will be sending individual notice to the owners of the affected units starting end of May 2021. Upon receiving the notice, owners are advised to contact Yamaha authorized dealers or Hong Leong Yamaha Motor branches to set an appointment to replace the affected parts.
